RAM does make a difference (warning: this is geeky)

I’ve been redesigning the Jessica Kingsley Publishers website over the past few days and I’ve been using Fireworks. It’s quite a heavy application and I’ve not been able to have Fireworks and Homesite (my html editor of choice) open at the same time without my computer complaining. I had enough of this yesterday and I ordered some RAM from Dabs (via Kingston really) to upgrade from 128MB. It arrived today (seriously impressive service) and I installed it without problems in about 10 minutes. Now, I have 392MB of RAM and my computer is whizzing along. Granted, it could benefit from a faster processor, but that 90 odd pounds has extended the life of this computer significantly.
