Hurrah! I never realised how much I like my things, until I thought I wouldn’t see them again. My favourite fleece, boots and t-shirts have come home to me and I’m very very happy.

Briefly, ’cause the downsides are ongoing….
The downsides: we ended up staying in an expensive hotel with the requisite building works (but a brilliant bathroom), I lost my luggage (on the way back), I was charged for a hotel room I didn’t take (idiot online booking fiasco).
